Applications are now open for Shropshire Council’s UK Shared Prosperity Funding Feasibility Fund
Following the recent announcement of £12.4 million of UK Shared Prosperity Funding (UKSPF), we are pleased to announce that the first window for applications is now open for feasibility and research work.
Applications must be submitted by 28 January 2023
The funding, from the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, is available to registered legal entities who undertake feasibility and research work that will support the delivery of UKSPF in Shropshire.
Organisations can apply for single projects up to a maximum value of £30,000.
This call is for feasibility and research work only and eligible activities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Externally commissioned work
- Primarily and desktop research and options analysis
- Surveys, ballots, and other public consultations
- Proof of concept development
- Evaluation exercises
Expenditure not suitable for the funding include:
- Planning or other statutory fees
- Running costs or salaries
- Post-RIBA stage 2 (in relation to construction projects)
The fund will not support activity that is commercial in nature or is solely for the benefit of the application organisations. Therefore, it is anticipated that the fund will be mainly of interest to organisations that provide services and support communities. The first application window closes on 28 January. It is desired that applications that progress can spend 50% of their grant monies and submit expenses by 24 March.
Organisations have until 28 Jan to apply.
