Shropshire Council is pleased to announce the availability of Capital Funds from the UK Shared Prosperity Funds (UKSPF) and The Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) for the year 2025/2026.

We welcome applications for Capital only infrastructure projects under the Community and Place Priority for the themes of Healthy, Safe and Inclusive Communities and Thriving places.

The Sustaining Shropshire project supports food, drink, and Agri-tech businesses in overcoming challenges related to product development, food regulatory compliance, innovation, packaging, and processing.

This initiative is dedicated to providing innovation support in Design and Digital services for enterprises throughout Shropshire. It can provide support across various market sectors and assist businesses with a diverse range of IT needs.

A crowdfunding programme from Shropshire Council in partnership with Spacehive. Receive financial support from the Council and the local community to fund impactful projects in your neighbourhood.

This project will collaborate with the Visit Shropshire Destination Development Programme to support the visitor economy through training events, brand development, enhancing outdoor activities, and implementing the Destination Management and Great Outdoors Development Plans.

Business Boost 360 provides 6 hours of fully funded support tailored to a business’s specific needs. Eligible businesses must be based in the Shropshire Council area and have been trading for at least 6 months. Choose from our extensive list of advisors.

Harnessing the power of sport and physical activity to engage individuals who are inactive in the labour market. The aim is to help them develop essential skills, unlock potential and pursue meaningful employment opportunities.

Established Shropshire businesses can apply for grants ranging from £2,500 to £100,000. Funding can support new product launches, technology or equipment upgrades, and expansion or improvements. Currently closed to new applications

Cutting costs, cutting carbon and providing a framework for Net Zero and sustainability. Our support programme provides in-depth, long term and structured support for businesses starting out on their decarbonising journey, tailored the to their needs and ambitions.

MEG offers free advice and grants for SMEs to improve energy efficiency and invest in renewable energy measures. Available to all businesses and community buildings.

Silverpreneurs® inspires individuals over 50s to start or develop a business within a supportive community. Offering an 8-week programme, with personalised 1-2-1 and group sessions, creating an environment to learn, grow and share their entrepreneurial journey.

APF Project helps businesses to improve their awareness of the opportunities available through additive manufacture (3D Printing). From optimising existing designs, to developing new products  and producing prototypes.

A programme consisting of half and full day courses covering a variety of subjects including using Microsoft software, social media, creating better sales opportunities, plus an Active Leadership Programme with workshops and 1-2-1 coaching.

This project aims to provide tailored support for the employed to access to unaccredited and accredited courses to both advance their own careers while also contributing to the growth of their employer’s business.
