Tourism businesses across Telford and Shropshire are being offered a unique opportunity to hear directly from some of the key people shaping National Trust’s work across Ironbridge Gorge, as the new Telford & Shropshire LVEP Tourism Trade Event Series launches on Monday 5 October.
As one of the destination’s flagship visitor attractions, Ironbridge Gorge plays a significant role in driving leisure, group and travel trade visits across Telford and Shropshire. For many tourism businesses, what happens at the Gorge influences visitor behaviour, bookings and commercial opportunities across the wider destination.
The event will give businesses the opportunity to meet members of the National Trust team, hear more about the evolving visitor offer and future direction of Ironbridge Gorge, and understand how tourism businesses can work alongside one of the destination’s most important visitor attractions.
Attendees will gain insight into future plans and opportunities, hear about developments across the Gorge, and have the chance to ask questions and explore opportunities for collaboration, partnership working and business growth.

The event will also include a short update on wider visitor economy activity, business support and networking opportunities across Telford and Shropshire.
