The Marches Growth Hub Shropshire wants businesses to help them develop their new offer for 2024.
The Growth Hub in Shropshire is committed to supporting the growth and success of businesses in the county, and wants to understand the needs and challenges businesses are facing.
Emma Chapman, manager of the Growth Hub in Shropshire, explained:-
“We have dealt with over 27,000 business enquiries in Shropshire over the last five years and have worked with over 1,700 start-up businesses. We are constantly looking to develop and adapt the many free services we provide.
“Consequently we need to know what type of support businesses will need in 2024 and beyond, and want to get as many views as possible through our survey.”
The Marches Growth Hub is a free business support service offering advice via phone, in person, or via events and workshops. Its support is freely available to for all businesses in Shropshire, regardless of size, sector, or stage of business development.
Anna Sadler, Growth Hub officer, commented:-
“We are aware that there are businesses who haven’t engaged with us yet, so we are keen to reach out to them too. The survey is brief and should take no more that four to five minutes of their time.
“Based on the number of businesses who return to us again and again for help, and the feedback we receive, the support we offer makes a positive difference and, because our support is free, we don’t want anyone to miss out.”
All businesses are urged to take the survey here https://www.shropshire.gov.uk/get-involved/marches-growth-hub-business-survey/ The survey closes on Friday 15 December 2023.
Mark Jones, Shropshire Council’s Cabinet member for growth and regeneration, said:-
“The Growth Hub is funded to help businesses start-up, grow and thrive. In Shropshire it has already helped numerous companies to do just that, and by developing its services further it can continue to make a vital contribution to the economy of the Shropshire.”
