Shropshire Artisan Showcase returns to Shrewsbury this May

News

5th May 2026

The Shropshire Artisan Showcase 2026 will return to the Darwin Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury from 11 to 16 May, bringing local creative talent to the high street through a week‑long ‘pop‑up’ experience.

Delivered by the Shropshire Growth Hub, in partnership with Buy‑From Creative Agency, the showcase will feature 10 Shropshire‑based designer‑makers and artists, offering shoppers the chance to discover and buy locally made, one‑of‑a‑kind products.

Visitors can expect a wide range of handcrafted goods, including ceramics, jewellery, textiles, illustration and fine art. Throughout the week, makers will also be on hand to talk about their work with live demonstrations and interactive elements helping to showcase the skill and creativity behind each piece.

Now in its third year, the Artisan Showcase supports local creatives to test retail, raise their profile, and connect directly with customers in a busy town‑centre location.

Visitors are encouraged to drop in from Monday to Saturday, 9:00am–5:30pm to meet the makers and support Shropshire’s independent creative businesses.
