Two Shropshire companies have seen sales increase after accessing free support through the Shropshire Growth Hub’s Business Boost 360 Programme.

Alex Brennan of Beamish Prestige Ltd and Kate Parslow of Kate Parslow Interiors both received support in a range of digital skills and social media.

Alex Brennan set up his luxury chauffeur business in 2023 but was finding it hard to reach new customers. Through Business Boost 360 he received help in creating and maximising a new website and social media training. The positive impact on his business has been enormous with Alex seeing a significant increase in traffic and enquiries to his website.

Kate Parslow started her interior business during the pandemic in 2020. At the time her approach allowed people to undertake the work themselves following a consultation. However, by 2023 Kate was having to work a lot harder to find customers. She knew she had a great offer but lacked confidence in how to communicate this effectively to her target audience. Through Business Boost 360 Kate received a raft of digital training including SEO and Googles analytics, email marketing, advice on digital strategy, and blogging.

Kate says her confidence has improved immensely,

“I fully appreciated the need to get this part of the business right but struggled to know how to achieve it. I found it time-consuming, confusing and a little overwhelming. But now with the expert advice and support I received I am far more confident to tackle it. I have successfully launched my marketing strategy which is successfully bringing in new leads and customers.”

From an extensive list of Business Boost 360 consultants provided by the Shropshire Growth Hub, both companies chose to receive help from the Buy-From Creative Agency.

Business Boost 360 is a programme offered by the Shropshire Growth Hub.

Funded through UKSPF, Business Boost 360 provides 6 hours of fully funded support tailored to a business’s specific needs.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
